On my way out to a meeting this morning, I got a comment on the Owen Hargreaves highlights post from a dude calling himself Rae who has put together an incredible compilation of Hargreaves highlights. Flattering that he thought to send it to me first, I guess we’ve got some credibility over here at Andrewisahater.
I really think Hargreaves is gonna make the difference this year, especially in the champions league. He is the perfect compliment to the flair players we’ve picked up in Anderson and Nani. Hargreaves will provide the deep cover to allow Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggsy, Nani, Anderson and Scholesy to push forward and launch raids coming from all over the pitch, while our central defensive pairing (which is definitely the best in the league) now has one of the world’s best holding midfielders providing cover for them.
